Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me!
Greatest lie repeated and repeated or perhaps a curse passed down through the generations, not only do words have the power to destroy, they do kill!

The good person out of his good treasure brings forth good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure brings forth evil. I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
And here in this single scripture lies my lesson for today!
If a person is an idiot, how is this a sin and how does this condemn me to hell and why would this be so offensive to Jesus:
. Matthew 5:22-23. At one point in my work I came to two verses in the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus declared:
You have heard that it was said to those of old, “You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.” But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, “Raca!” shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, “You fool!” shall be in danger of hell fire (Matt. 5:21-22, NKJV).
In trying to come to terms with this and finding justifications, I had to breathe and admit, just think about it Berni, how is calling someone an idiot unconditional love.

C. Jesus taught, “For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man” (Matt. 15:19-20).
Jesus challenges us to recognize that it puts one in the place of God to speak disparagingly of other souls. We are not the judge. Insults are a type of judgment.
Breaking this down, calling someone an idiot/a fool is condemnation and judgment and we are told, thou shalt not judge. The children of God recognize that we are all on our own journey and that God deals with us in His own gentle manner, we are to love each other. So we don't get to call each other idiots, because we are all aspects of God and aspects of each other.
Jude 8-10 New International Version (NIV)
8 In the very same way, on the strength of their dreams these ungodly people pollute their own bodies, reject authority and heap abuse on celestial beings. 9 But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”[a] 10 Yet these people slander whatever they do not understand, and the very things they do understand by instinct—as irrational animals do—will destroy them.
1 John 2:27
27 As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.
Titus 2:7-8
7 In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness
8 and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.
Colossians 3:16
16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
Seems we going to admonish one another, but we missing a few crucial guidelines, let the message of Christ dwell among you richly! The more you live the more you love, it's a requirement otherwise depression, anxiety and stress will defeat all of us. The hungry ghosts that chase us and notice every time you drawing closer to God, a train wreck occurs and or we stumble and fall and have to start all over again. Today's lesson came straight out of nowhere, but wow, amazing what we find when we consult the Bible.
What man can never accept is that God walked among us and was one of us and lived and died by our hand. The misinformed, how do we not use the word idiot? It is condemnation, so those who have a belief system that is contradictory to others, do what? How do you ask a man to change his belief system and what makes our belief system so much better? The grey area where we meet and play and do our deeds and hide and hope that the shadows will lock away all our secrets forever. Never may we be shamefaced! I want the heartbeat of Heaven, I want the life that comes with peace and the love that washes away all my hurt and pain. I desire to be light, infinite love.
Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Ephesians 6:10-13
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
1 Chronicles 22:18
“Is not the Lord your God with you? And has he not given you peace on every side? For he has delivered the inhabitants of the land into my hand, and the land is subdued before the Lord and his people.
- The Lord’s my Shepherd, I’ll not want;
He makes me down to lie
In pastures green; He leadeth me
The quiet waters by. - My soul He doth restore again,
And me to walk doth make
Within the paths of righteousness,
E’en for His own name’s sake. - Yea, though I walk in death’s dark vale,
Yet will I fear no ill;
For Thou art with me, and Thy rod
And staff my comfort still. - My table Thou hast furnished me
In presence of my foes;
My head Thou dost with oil anoint,
And my cup overflows. - Goodness and mercy all my life
Shall surely follow me;
And in God’s house forevermore,
My dwelling place shall be. - Peace be with you and dwell inside you always.
