Heaven's Gems

NIV

22 Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd.

23 After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone,

24 and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.

25 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.

27 But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

28 “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”

29 “Come,” he said.

Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”

31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”

32 And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. 33 Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”

KING JAMES version.

23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.

25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.

26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.

27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.

29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.

33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

Looking at verse 24, the ship carrying the disciples is now in the midst of the sea and there's a storm because the wind was contrary. The winds blowing in our lives is contrary and we are in the midst of a storm and we know Jesus, but we have taken our eyes from Him and we are focused on the storm around us. We think we are caught up in the storm, but we are in the midst of the storm.

Verse 25 On the fourth watch of the night. Jesus never took His eyes off the boat, he watched for four nights waiting for the disciples to stand up and tell the storm to be calm. After the fourth watch Jesus went to them.

Verse 26 Terrified and afraid, we, the disciples of  Jesus Christ of Nazareth, wonder if what they are seeing is a ghost?

Verse 27 But straight away, Jesus tells them be of good cheer, it is I, be not afraid. If fear is consuming you, what you are doing is not of God.

Verse 28: Peter says Lord if it is you, let me come to you. We cry asking to walk on the storm. and Jesus says come.

Verse 29 Peter steps from the boat, the storm is still raging, the wind is still contrary. Nothing has changed except Jesus is here and with his eyes focused on Jesus Peter walks on water. We have the ability to walk on the storm, but we not focused on Jesus.

Verse 30. Now Peter realizes he is walking on water and this cannot be happening, how is this possible and he takes his eyes off from Jesus and seeing the storm begins to drown.

Verse 31  Immediately. Get this, grasp it, immediately Jesus reached out His hand and says, oh ye of little faith, why did you doubt me?

Jesus does not doubt us, He trusts us and loves us completely.

Here's a little Diddy about Jack and Dianne

The White Parties.  The media reports that Diddy's ventures were making him ridiculously rich!!!  When you stop laughing we will get down to the fact that the FBI has based their case on the fact that every single dime Diddy made was off Jack and Dianne.  Not two American kids growing up in the heartland, no Jack and Di are living it up at the white parties, as stars flock to the laughter, room 19, they come face to face with pain, this is the god of this world.  The life that is sucked away, stripped from the human that entered to emerge broken and never whole again.  Blackmailed, living with fear and hungry to stay relevant current and attend the white parties.  Listening to the podcasts on YouTube, it becomes blatant as those channel his innocence, but Diddy is no innocent man.  The pizza parties and the plastic Diddy instructed his crew to destroy only confirmed to those who listen and watch exactly what went down in the tunnels and why these...

An Inside Joke

FNB (First National Bank) in South Africa decided to embark on a "don't be a Steve" 2014. In a Facebook post FNB defended themselves saying that this was an Inside Joke and not intended to offend the public. Only the infamous genius whom dreamt up this concept could offer a defense, the concept is and will always be offensive, degrading and unprofessional. The public paid the price of this Inside Joke.    Across the United Kingdom people gather outside their homes clapping and beating pots in support of the NHS (National Health Service) They are unaware of the fact that they too are part of An Inside Joke.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cacerolazo a form of popular protest! And you thought you were beating those pots and lids and clapping in support for the nurses and doctors who are forced into compliance with the greatest show on Earth. Don't despair the entire world fell for this one: Washing our hands with soap and water! Washing  your  hands with soap...

Psychology: A case study!

A Witness. Before I tell my story, remember that Ruben is an alleged schizophrenic taking a combination of antipsycotic, anxiety and all in all around nine various medications. Under no circumstances should Ruben be drinking, however trying to convince Ruben of the fact that alcohol and his body don't mix seems to be a fruitless, pointless, complete waste of time and he always gets hurt and the family involved are always left traumatized by his escapades.  What you will read, is a brief look at what happens all the time, over and over again as the cycle repeats and the patterns repeat.  Monday, June 2 2025 somewhere in this world a cell phone lights up and the call comes from a broken hearted mother, sobbing as she tries desperately to speak the words that shake her to the core.  The fear is unmistakable, the danger is real and the situation is dire.  Friday morning she drops her son off at the dentist and when she collects him for the trip back to the smallholding w...
