The incredible wonderful life of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the Messiah, the Savior, the baby born to reunite Man with God is quietly just buried beneath the garbage sold to us year after year as minds are corrupted with the old man dressed in red who comes down the chimney and steals your soul! Song after song is being played in store after store, his making his list, his checking it twice, he wants to find out who is naughty or nice, Santa (Satan) is coming to town. I saw mommy kissing Santa under the Christmas tree! Jingle bells, jingle bells jingle all the way. Where is Jesus in our lives? This is His birthday, this is His day, this is the day of love and forgiveness, this is the day that the Lord has made so that we may be saved and have a chance at everlasting life. 

This is the time to gather the little ones and sit them down and tell them all about Mary and how God chose this young 14 year old to be the mother of His son. She was 14 years old pregnant and not married and people gossiped and people talked. Don't judge for we know not what God is doing in the lives of those around us. Joseph and Mary trusted by God to parent and be the Earthly role models that Jesus would watch and learn and keep Him safe until it was time for him to embark on His mission. Heavily pregnant and tired, the couple arrives in Bethlehem and there is no room for them. What kind of heart looks at a tired exhausted heavily pregnant young woman and says I am sorry there is no place for you here, but we have a barn! The King of Kings is born in a barn, the Shepherd of shepherds is comes into this world and is surrounded by sheep and his wise men travel presenting a baby with:

Gold, frankincense, and myrrh

The gold points to Jesus’ royalty, the frankincense to his divinity, and the myrrh to his humanity.

This Day belongs to Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Yeshua! This is His birthday, His celebration of His life and the wonders and promises that belong to Him. 

Many people are going to be bent out of shape, they simply cannot afford the lifestyle they have become accustomed too and as they stare pensively at the bank account and feel the dread and fear approach as they cannot lavish gifts any longer, it's all a giant lie. This is the day of love, peace and good will. This is the day of celebration and joy and family. This is the day that we rejoice and give thanks for life and life everlasting.
